Is Haushaltsbuch & Budget Planer free?
Yes. Entry tracking, a rolling 12-month visible history, default categories, the monthly overview, search, filters, JSON backup and notes on up to 30 transactions are free. Pro is optional and adds unlimited visible history, custom categories with one level of subcategories, complete real-data reports, CSV and PDF export, and unlimited notes.
Does the app work offline?
The core budgeting features work without an internet connection, and your financial data remains on your device. Viewing current prices, buying or restoring Pro, and refreshing subscription status require a connection to Apple and RevenueCat. There is no app cloud or transaction sync.
Do I need an account or an email address?
No. Open the app and start - there is no sign-up, no email, and no user database.
Does the app track me or collect my data?
Your transactions, categories and notes stay on your device. There are no advertising or behavioural-analytics SDKs. RevenueCat receives a random anonymous installation ID and purchase or subscription data to load offerings, validate Pro and provide subscription analytics; it does not receive your financial entries. Does it connect to my bank?
No. Entries are added manually and there is no bank-account linking - by design. That keeps your financial data on your device and out of any third party’s hands.
Can I export or back up my data?
Yes. A full JSON backup is always free, so you can move your data to a new device. CSV and PDF export are part of Pro, for sharing or your own records.
